World Thinking Day is a Girl Scout holiday which is officially held each year on Feb. 22. It's a day for girls to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts by taking time to give thanks for their international friendships. The Girl Scouts of the USA are part of an organization represented by nearly 150 countries, which are members of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

Girl Scout troops from Lomira, Eden and Campbellsport held a World Thinking Day Fair in honor of the holiday. The fair was held on Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lomira. Each participating troop had a display, craft and food sample that represented the country they chose to represent. The scouts and their families could then "travel" from country to country getting their passports stamped and learn all about the world. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Juliette Lowe World Friendship Fund to help support girls' participation in international leadership events.

The countries represented were France, Norway, India, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Yemen, and the Philippines.
