Christina Kubasta, assistant professor of English and Chair of Culture, Media, and Gender Studies, will have her book of poetry entitled "A Lovely Box" published.

Jenny Boully, author of The Body: An Essay, calls A Lovely Box "an intelligent, intertextual investigation into identity, one that looks unflinchingly at the body, love, experience, and the circumstances that bring us and keep us...Always surprising, full of formal inventiveness and linguistical delights, A Lovely Box makes us wonder, in life and death, in love and loss, what is ours to keep, what we can no longer hold."

"There is no way to prepare yourself for the experience of reading C. Kubasta's remarkable and exhilarating "A Lovely Box"?You must simply plunge in and let the words and music and meanings and feelings wash over you," says Bruce Bennett, author of Navigating the Distances: Poems New and Selected of Kubasta's book.

"A Lovely Box," published by Finish Line Press, will be released in May. To pre-order the book for $12, go to: https://www.finishinglinepress.com/product_info.php?products_id=1628
