Series: St. Norbert leads UW-Eau Claire 44-6-4 but went 0-2-1 against the Blugold this season. The Green Knights never have lost a Peters Cup playoff game to Eau Claire (11-0).

SNC update: St. Norbert defeated St. Scholastica 2-1 in the Peters Cup semifinals to advance into today's title game in search of the program's 11th Peters Cup championship. ? Senior forward Kyle Stroh leads the team with 41 points (19 goals, 21 assists). ? Sophomore goaltender David Jacobson is 19-5-1 with a 1.66 goals-against average and .928 save percentage after helping guide the Green Knights to the NCAA Division III national title last season as a freshman. "He's had a lot on his shoulders," defenseman Reid Campbell said. "He's coming back and being the guy. That was expected this year and he's carried the ball for us. You can't complain about that guy. He's going to battle game-in and game-out. We have all the confidence in the world in him." ? St. Norbert is 39-for-138 (28.3 percent) on the power play and is 84-for-94 (89.4 percent) on the penalty kill, which leads all of Division III hockey. ? The Knights, who have won all 10 of their Peters Cup titles at home, will be playing in only their second conference postseason road game in the last 12 years.

UWEC update: Coming off the program's first NCHA regular-season title, the Blugolds beat UW-River Falls 7-2 in the semifinals. Senior forward Jordan Singer leads Eau Claire with 33 points (20 goals, 13 assists). ? Senior goaltender Brandon Stephenson, this year's NCHA player of the year, is 18-3-2 with a 2.14 GAA and .928 save percentage. ? Eau Claire is 21-for-94 (22.3 percent) on the power play and is 71-for-86 (82.6 percent) on the penalty kill. ? With the WIAC schools set to play in their own league next season, today's game will be the final conference showdown between Eau Claire and St. Norbert, which is 201-74-28 against the conference.
