Attila Weninger suggested Friday that bold action might be required by districts using Skyward Inc. for their student information systems.

The Stevens Point Area Public School District superintendent convened a meeting of school officials from across the state at SentryWorld. The purpose was to discuss the state's decision to implement a single-vendor system and its selection of Minnesota-based Infinite Campus for the contract.

The Department of Administration announced Feb. 1 it had selected Infinite Campus for the state contract, which could grow from $15 million to $80 million ...
