Re/Max names top earners

Re/Max real estate agents from Re/Max Universal Realty in Sheboygan Falls were honored by Re/Max North Central, the regional office for Re/Max franchises throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, for outstanding achievements in 2012. Executive Club winners were Cory Kramer, Donna Bartels and Tori Schoenemann. 100 Percent Club winners were Debra Schieble, MaryJane Daniels and Tim Kapellen. Gary Beaudoin was named to the Platinum Club.

Raulin earns designation

Deidre Raulin at Maritime Insurance Group, a HUB International company, has earned the professional designation as healthcare customer service associate. Raulini is an account manager in the employee benefits division and is a Wisconsin state agent licensed in health and life insurance.

Contractors Association names new leadership

Scott Wakefield, of Home Depot, has been named the 2013 president of the Sheboygan Contractors Association and Mark Winkel, of Winkel Contracting LLC, has been named its vice president, the association announced recently. Other officers include Tom Hohmann, of Hohmann Painting and Decorating, as secretary, and Larry Lorier, of Lorier Painting and Decorating, as treasurer. Board members are Vince Sonntag, Sonntag Plumbing; Kevin Fetterer, Ace Painting Inc.; Bob Simmelink, Gary's Lock and Key; and Rich Lutze, Menards.

Johnston is top producer

Joy Johnston was ranked in the top one percent of Invest Financial Corp.'s Invest Chairman's Club, which recognizes the top producers in the nation. Johnston was the No. 1 woman for 2012. She has finished in the top 15 in total production in each of the past 16 years. Johnston has been with Invest for 23 years. She works in the firm's Sheboygan office at 1337 N. Taylor Dr.

Madson earns innovation award

Michael Madson, a 1991 graduate of Sheboygan North High School, was awarded the 2013 Innovation Award for applied research from The University of Southern Mississippi, where he is an associate professor of psychology and directs the College Alcohol Research Team supervising graduate and undergraduate student researchers. Madson has received grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, the American Psychological Foundation and the Mississippi Delta Health Alliance and has published 30 articles in professional journals and two book chapters. He received his BS from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, his MSE from the University of Wisconsin - Superior and his PhD from Marquette University.

Aurora 'Stars' recognized

Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center announced its December 2012 "Aurora Stars," caregivers who have gone above and beyond in caring for the center's patients. They are: Beth Budge, 3K/Intensive Care Unit; Patricia Gahagan, Women's Health Services; Rhonda Gebert, Behavioral Health Services; Renae Grahn, Administration; Marilyn Heiden, 3K/Intensive Care Unit; Judith Nelson, 3K/Intensive Care Unit; and Gail Parr, Food Services.
