This was one of those games where the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point women's basketball team did just about everything it could to pick up a 'W' only to come out on the losing end.

Looking to earn a berth in the Sweet 16, the No. 18 ranked Pointers watched their season come crashing to a heartbreaking conclusion despite a gallant comeback bid that feel a little short in an 88-84 setback to Simpson College in an NCAA Division III regional final Saturday night at Cowles Fieldhouse.

UWSP concludes the season at 24-6. ...
