Local CP Telethon raises record $1.3M in pledges

This weekend's local CP Telethon raised more than $1.3 million in pledges - a record amount, according to WBAY, Channel 2.

Cerebral Palsy Inc. conducts the annual telethon, now in its 59th year on WBAY, on the first weekend of March each year.

Cerebral Palsy Inc. serves more than 1,200 families each year. It serves people of ages with a variety of disabilities.

The Cerebral Palsy Center raised $1,354,673 in pledges during this weekend's telethon, according to WBAY.
