Each week, Press-Gazette Media will recognize outstanding prep basketball achievements with the American Family Insurance all-Press-Gazette Media performances of the week. Here are the selections for the week of Feb. 25 to March 2.

Boys basketball performance of the week

N.E.W. Lutheran junior Nathan Toenjes posted 16 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks to send the Blazers back to state for a third time in four years with a 63-40 victory over Niagara in a WIAA Division 5 sectional final game on March 2.

Girls basketball performance of the week

Oconto junior Laken James scored nine of her game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Blue Devils rallied from a seven-point deficit to top Coleman 40-33 in a WIAA Division 4 regional final on March. 2
