The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Portage County has a limited supply of smoke alarms that can be installed in the homes of seniors and adults with disabilities who don't have alarms. The alarms are free, thanks to the efforts of the Stevens Point Fire Department, and will be installed by RSVP program volunteers at no cost.

If your home is lacking a smoke alarm or if you aren't sure if your smoke alarms are working properly, call Portage County RSVP at 715-346-1401.
