Be inspired to pursue your own "Everest." This message and more will be reflected upon at the 10th Annual "Safety Day." The Fond du Lac Area Safety Council is featuring Lance Fox, as the Safety Day keynote speaker, scheduled for Wednesday, March 20 at Moraine Park Technical College.

Fox, a Wisconsin native, is a veterinarian by trade, who rose to distinction after scaling Mount Everest. Since his return from Everest in 2009, Lance has been actively engaged in sharing his story of adventure and inspiring people to pursue with passion their own "Everest," that dream which lives in all of us.

Lance shares his experiences on Everest in hopes of inspiring his audiences to pursue their dreams. He shares with his audiences the importance of dreaming, working hard, and staying focused on the goal ahead, all the while remaining positive even during the darkest of times. Everyone will face a challenge in life. Sometimes the challenge may be small, other times significant, yet it is not the challenge which will define you but rather how you cope with it and ultimately what you learn from it.

The best one-day safety program in the State of Wisconsin, Safety Day is an annual daylong seminar hosted by the Fond du Lac Area Safety Council. In addition to the keynote address, Safety Day programming will provide attendees with valuable learning opportunities and professional development. The cost to attend is $65 for Safety Council Members; $100 for Non-Members; 10 or more people from the same business, $50 each; and $25 for the keynote only.
