DFP welcomes Sadie Parafiniuk as new director of marketing and special events

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership, Inc. (DFP), dedicated to bringing people, activity, and business to the heart of Fond du Lac, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Sadie Parafiniuk as the new Director of Marketing & Special Events.

Parafiniuk has over four years of professional experience with the Fond du Lac area and brings her knowledge of marketing, special events planning, social media, and website development to the DFP.

Located in the new office at 39 S. Marr St., Suite 103, inside the Jackson Kahl Center, Parafiniuk reports to Amy Hansen, Executive Director of DFP. "I'm delighted that we were able to bring Sadie on board and excited to get her out working with all of our wonderful downtown businesses and supporters," said Hansen.

Parafiniuk has managed several special events and marketing while working for Congressman Tom Petri and Citizens for Tom Petri. There she organized annual fundraising events, grants conferences, the Congressional Art Competition, and worked closely with many businesses and members of the Fond du Lac community.

Parafiniuk recently became the President of the Board of Directors for the Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County where she also co-chairs the highly successful event Pursapalooza, she is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and is completing her last semester at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she will receive her Master's degree in Public Administration.

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people, activity, business and a thriving civic life back to the heart of Fond du Lac. The DFP serves 214 properties with 295 businesses.
