St. Peter Middle School has received a $500 grant from 2012 Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance program to support the school's science and math departments. George and Helen Swetz of Swetz Roadside Convenience Store worked with Ellen Lopas, principal of St. Peter Middle School, to secure the grant.

Exxon Mobil has a long history of supporting educational programs, like Educational Alliance, that focus on improvements in these areas from pre-school to higher education. The company believes it is fundamentally important to encourage the next generation to pursue studies and careers in fields involving math and science.
