Kewaunee nuke plant closing to cost $85.5M in annual income

When the Kewaunee Power Station closes this spring, it will cost workers in Brown, Kewaunee and Manitowoc counties $85.5 million in annual income.

Kewaunee County Economic Development Corp. released the results of its latest impact study this week. Original estimates where higher, but the impact still is significant, said KCEDC Executive Director Jennifer Brown.
