Nonprofits can apply now through July 1 for grants from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.

To be eligible, organizations must be located in Wisconsin and be tax-exempt under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

All applications will be reviewed by the foundation trustees and a list of recipients will be finalized in November. A public announcement of the recipients will take public at a luncheon in roughly a year.

On Feb. 12, the foundation awarded a record $450,000 to 145 civic and charity organizations. Since it was established in 1986, the foundation has distributed more than $3 million.

To apply, visit www.packers.com/community/packers-foundation.html.
