Monfils letter to town voters

11:56 AM, Mar. 7, 2013  |  Comments

To the residents of the town of Lincoln:

Having served 30 years on the Town Board, I decided not to seek re-election as chairman.

With the unexpected death of our supervisor, Jack Younk, the other board members ask that I finish out the rest of his term, ending with the April 2013 elections.

Since then, I filled out nomination papers, running for the position of supervisor II, which had to be turned in by Jan. 2.

The last two months, January and February, certain conditions have arisen that I feel hinder my ability to fill the position of supervisor II to my best.

Please vote for whom you feel is the best candidate in the upcoming April 2 election.

I wish to thank the residents of the town of Lincoln for allowing me to serve on the Town Board.

Thank you,

Arlin Monfils
