Looking at the box scores after the Auburndale boys basketball team's games, nobody would realize how important Isaac Castellano is to its success.

But when in attendance, the junior point guard's impact is obvious and it was on display Thursday in Auburndale's 49-29 WIAA Division 4 state semifinal win over Amherst.

Castellano went to Auburndale head coach Chad Weinfurter before the game and asked to defend the Falcons' best shooter, Marcus Jensen. In the end, Castellano rendered Jensen largely ineffective, holding Amherst's senior sniper to just three points. Jensen came in averaging ...
