OSSEO -- Jenny Lindner scored 16 points, and Molly Atoe and Caitlynne Naughton added 11 and 10 points, respectively, as Neillsville rolled to a 46-28 win over Aquinas in a WIAA Division 3 sectional semifinal matchup on Thursday at Osseo-Fairchild High School, which extended the Warriors winning streak to 53 games.
The Warriors, who won the Division 4 state championship last year, face Ladysmith at 7 p.m. Saturday in River Falls. Neillsville entered the game allowing opponents an average of 20.8 points per game.
Neillsville never trailed in the game and led 21-14 at the break against an Aquinas team that finished tied for third in the Mississippi Valley Conference.
The Warriors' Katelyn Crothers chipped in with four points, while Taylor Gleissner scored three and Alleah Voigt added two points.
For Aquinas, the tandem of Shayna Halverson and Chelsea Ritter each scored 10 points apiece and Hannah Nelson added seven. Aquinas finished the season with a 20-6 record and an 8-4 record in the MVC.
