It might have been hard for the D.C. Everest boys basketball team to find much solace March 2.

For the second consecutive year, the Evergreens suffered through the heartbreak of having their season halted one step from a trip to Madison.

But for a quintet of DCE seniors, there was at least one consolation prize on an otherwise tough day that resulted in an 81-48 loss at the hands of Oshkosh North in a WIAA Division 1 sectional championship game at the Stevens Point Area Senior High Fieldhouse. ...
