Sturgeon Bay's Jake Bscherer is trying to get his foot in the National Football League door.

Bscherer participated Thursday in the University of Wisconsin football team's pro day in Madison, where he and other college seniors worked out for NFL scouts inside the McClain Center.

"I thought I performed real well," said Bscherer. "I heard there were 28 scouts there, so this was good exposure for me." ...
