Brillion school wins Packers fitness challenge

Holy Family School in Brillion has won the Play 60 Challenge, a physical fitness initiative from the Green Bay Packers, American Heart Association, Bellin Health and WPS Health Insurance.

More than 1,800 students participated throughout the area in the challenge to be active for at least 60 minutes a day. The students logged 6,520,922 minutes of activity, or 124.11 minutes of activity per student per day,

Holy Family School won the challenge, with an average of 4,585 minutes per student, or 163.7 minutes per day of activity. Fox View Intermediate School in De Pere came in second place, St. Mary Catholic School in Portage was third, and Rock Ledge Elementary School in Seymour came in fourth place.

The winning schools received gift certificates to the US Games, in denominations between $400 and $700.

First-place winner Holy Family School will receive a trip to Lambeau Field, including a stadium tour, Hall of Fame passes and a chance to meet a Packers player.
