Suspect in 15-year-old's death gets six years in prison

The first of seven people implicated in the shooting death of a 15-year-old Green Bay boy this summer has been sentenced to six years in prison.

Samuel Godinez, 18, of Chicago must serve eight years on extended supervision after his release from prison, Brown County Judge Marc Hammer ordered this week.

Godinez was one of seven people charged with involvement in the shooting death of Jeremy Teller, 15, outside a home at 1127 Smith St., Green Bay.
