Pond's goal breaks tie in third as Gamblers beat Team USA

Tanner Pond's early third-period goal broke a 2-2 tie, and the Green Bay Gamblers went on to defeat the Team USA U17 team 4-2 on Friday in a United States Hockey League game.

Kevin Irwin and Nicholas Schilkey also scored goals and Sheldon Dries added an empty-netter for the Gamblers (30-17-3).

Richard Ullberg got the win in net, saving 27 of 29 shots. ...
