Greg Barber was named president of Schenck. He will join Schenck on March 31. Barber has more than 30 years of experience in the public accounting profession, many in executive leadership positions. Barber is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Schenck has an Appleton office.

Mark Schmitz joined Advanced Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine as a physical therapist at its Appleton location.

Nicholas Sattler was named a staff accountant at Roberts, Ritschke & Tyczkowski Ltd. in Neenah. Sattler is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a master's in professional accountancy and a bachelor's degree in business administration.

FREEDOM - Long Vans named Kevin Heiting, business development representative, North Dakota; Todd Schuh, design specialist; Tanya Van Groll, accounting specialist; Erik Olson, production engineer; Nikki Neville, IT analyst; Anne Eaton, marketing coordinator; Kevin Pytleski, purcharing specialist; Robyn Waters, logistics support specialist; and promoted Stacy Simpson to customer care manager; Melissa Reese to accounting and finance manager; Jill Fickel to human resources supervisor; and Sam Melzer to business development representative, Fox Valley.

Gary Brum joined Business Lending Group as vice president. Brum, an Appleton native, brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial lending and sales. He most recently served as vice president, business banking at Wells Fargo.

APPLETON - Valley Truck Leasing Inc. hired Greg Christie as operations manager. He has 25 years in the automotive/transportation industry.

Mike Kern was named vice president - portfolio manager at First Business Bank-Northeast. He has more than 19 years of banking experience and came to First Business Bank after 16 years with Associated Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with degrees in economics and finance.

NEW LONDON - Sara Stenz was promoted to vice president of accounting and finance at First State Bank. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is a licensed certified public accountant and had been with KPMG LLP in Milwaukee for four years before joining First State Bank. Stenz lives in Brillion.

Junelle Lee of Appleton was promoted to senior field adjuster for Sheboygan-based Acuity, a property and casualty insurer that operates in 20 states, generates $1 billion in revenue through 1,000 independent agencies, and manages $2.5 billion in assets.
