Windsor Centre adding tenants
With work on the nearby Ministry Health Care Clinic nearing completion, tenants in the Windsor Centre are starting to fill in.
Three businesses - Point Insurance, Element Mobile and Pro Nails - now are in the location.
Announced in May, the $2 million project was the brainchild of the Seramur Family Limited Partnership, owners of the Windsor Apartments, 155 Devonshire Court.
Brian Seramur, general manager of Seramur Family, said at the time the 400-foot-long building would have 23,820 square feet of leasable space. He added spaces from about 1,200 to 4,800 square feet would be available, and that they were looking for around 10 to 12 tenants.
Seramur added the location would benefit from the construction of the a 15,000-square-foot Ministry Health Care primary care clinic being built at the intersection of McDill and Hoover avenues.
Costco coming to Green Bay area
Do you do any wholesale shopping? If you do, there's not a lot of options in the Stevens Point area.
The most obvious example is Sam's Club, with locations in Rib Mountain and in Appleton. But if you are willing to take a drive, a third option is now on the horizon.
Officials from the village of Bellevue, which is located in Brown County and is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Area, have met with officials from Costco, a discount superstore chain, and approved a special permit to build a new store.
The two sides had been working for more than a year on a plan to open a store in the area of highways 172 and GV. The 150,000-square-foot store and fueling station would feature a tire center, indoor food court and bakery, and would be expected to add 200 full- and part-time jobs.
According to Bellevue officials, Costco hopes to be open by November.
According to Costco's website, the membership warehouse chain has stores in eight countries and four in southern Wisconsin - Sun Prairie, Grafton, Middleton and Pewaukee.
