? Ann Krysiak, dental assistant, has joined Park-West Pediatric Dental Associates, Green Bay.

? The services of Dr. Daniel DeGroot, board certified in urology, are at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls. Dr. DeGroot received his medical degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed his residency at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. His services include adult and pediatric urology; cystoscopy and other treatment of bladder cancer; medical and surgical treatment of incontinence; vasectomy; care for prostate cancer, urinary and bladder problems, and kidney stones.

? Mike Kern, vice president-portfolio manager, has joined First Business Bank, Appleton.

? Joel Williquette was promoted to vice president of information technology at Bank of Luxemburg.

? Tim Howald, chairman and chief executive officer of Tweet/Garot Mechanical, Green Bay, will be inducted into the Wisconsin Safety Hall of Fame. Howard is being recognized for hiring a full-time safety director in 1991, far ahead of most other contractors, and creating a Zero Injury Environment, where employees are challenged to keep themselves and their co-workers safe every minute of every day.

? Thrivent Financial for Lutherans financial associate Corbin Keller, Green Bay, has qualified for the Pinnacle Council conference.

? Door Peninsula Winery, Carlsville, a gold medal at the International Eastern Wine Competition for its Lighthouse White vintage. Sweet Survivor received a bronze medal.

? The Cambria Suites hotel of Green Bay received a Choice Hotels International 2013 Platinum Hospitality Award.

? Insurance Service Center of De Pere was named one of Society's Best for 2012 by Society Insurance, Fond du Lac. Insurance Service Center of De Pere also earned recognition as a Society's Best Agency in 2007 and 2009.

Education

? JoAnn Miller, Oconto Falls High School, and Kay Zastrow, Keller Elementary School, Green Bay, are among Wisconsin's Teachers of the Year who have been appointed to the Wisconsin Teachers of the Year Council.
