Budding artists whose work has not been exhibited are invited to submit samples for the Emerging Artists Show at the Fond du Lac Public Library gallery in May. All mediums are accepted; depending on the level of interest, either one or two pieces will be shown.

Artists are invited to submit the following:

? Artist bio

? Artist statement (written description of the work)

? Two-to-three photographs (or JPEGs if e-mailed)

? Self-addressed-stamped envelope for return of photos if artwork is not accepted into the exhibit

This information must be sent by e-mail to Susan Fiebig at sfiebig.moondance@yahoo.com; or mailed to the library at 32 Sheboygan St., Fond du Lac WI 54935, Attn: Gallery. Deadline is April 15.

The Emerging Artists Show will be on display throughout May. A public reception will be held at the gallery at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 9.

The library gallery is curated by Fond du Lac Visual Arts, a local professional collaborative devoted to art awareness and education, development and enhancement of artists' skills and strengthening connections between art and commerce in the Fond du Lac area. Information about Fond du Lac Visual Arts is available on Facebook.
