Salvation Army welcomes new president; six new advisory board members

The Salvation Army recently welcomed six new Advisory Board members. Those joining the organization's guiding force include: Heather Bowen, oncology supervisor, Agnesian Health Care; Jerrae DeLap, manager at the Retlaw Fitness Center; and Michele Verbos, realtor with First Weber; Josh Ingram, employee relations representative with Mercury Marine; and Scott Richter, certified public account and associate professor at Marian University. Additionally Kathy Wolf, of Citizens First Credit Union was elected as president.

The Salvation Army Advisory Board, being familiar with all phases of The Salvation Army's operations in the community, formulates plans for the improvement of its facilities and programs offered, making recommendations with respect to fund-raising, community relations, and expenditures.

Lt. Steven Wilson says, "We are delighted to welcome these individuals as new advisory board members and Ms. Wolf as our president. The Salvation Army depends on input from a variety of people from all walks of life, ages, ethnic backgrounds, professions, and various geographic locations. We are looking forward to a year of great things to come!"
