The average retail price for a gallon of gasoline in Green Bay fell 4.4 cents in the past week to $3.70, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 127 gas outlets.
The price is 9.5 cents lower than a year ago and 8.8 cents higher than a month ago.
The U.S. average was $3.66 a gallon. That is 8.8 cents a gallon less than a year ago and 10.2 cents more than a month ago.
"Relief at the pump has continued for motorists in a majority of the United States during the last week," said GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan. "I would caution motorists, however, not to sound the all clear. Refineries will be continuing their switch over to cleaner burning gasoline, and there certainly is the possibility that one mishap could send prices racing higher."
