More than 350 people gathered Sunday to get an update from a group formed to stop a proposed large-scale dairy.
In June, Jim Wysocki, chief financial officer for the Wysocki Family of Cos., announced the company planned to build a 5,300-animal, 7,000-acre operation called Golden Sands Dairy in Saratoga. A short time later, a grassroots opposition group, Protect Wood County, was formed with the goal of stopping the dairy from locating in Saratoga.
