Stop the raid on Social Security trust fund

H.R. 234 Savings for Seniors Act was co-sponsered by Rep. Reid Ribble. This would have established a Social Security Surplus Protection Account within the Social Security Trust Fund. The funds in this new account could not be used in any why that would result in them being transferred to the general fund of the Department of the Treasury. This would prevent the federal government from continuing to borrow money from Social Security.

This act did not going anywhere. I guess the politicians in Washington want to continue to keep raiding the Social Security Fund. They really had those on Social Security and those who will be receiving Social Security in the future in mind. What needs to be done is get rid of at least 90 percent of the politicians in Washington and our problems would probably be solved.
