Optimists donate to Caring Closet

The Wisconsin Rapids Optimists Club has donated more new clothing items to the Caring Closet valued at more than $600.

The Caring Closet is a place where school staff members in south Wood County have access to new and very gently used clothing, as well as personal hygiene and school supplies for students in need. Qualifications are based on the immediate needs of the student as determined by school staff members. School counselors and school social workers are the primary contacts to access the items.
