Remember when Gov. Scott Walker's office estimated it would cost approximately $6 million to clean up after the demonstrations protesting the collective bargaining issue at the Capitol? Another one of his estimates was to create 250,000 jobs.
Then our governor rejects federal Medicaid expansion because his office estimates that under his new health plan the state will expand health insurance coverage to just over 224,000 and cut income tax by $343 million. Most recently, a mining bill was fast-tracked because his office estimates over 700 jobs will be created regardless of any possible environmental issues.
I am all for creating jobs, but does anyone else worry that his estimates may not be correct?
