Police name no suspects in attempted abduction

Police say no one has been named as a suspect in the attempted abduction case that occurred near the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus, while concerns grow from community members and students about safety.

Police investigators have about three pages of leads related to the incident in which a white male in his mid-50s with a gray beard and a stocky build tried to grab a young female jogger near the intersection of Maria Avenue and Reserve Street, said Stevens Point Police Sgt. Joseph Gruber.
