Stable might best describe Marshfield varsity volleyball coach Dawn Sadowska's life today, although that hasn't always been the case.

She and her husband Jim, a special education teacher at Marshfield Middle School, have been married 15 years and have a daughter, Kati, 10, and a son, Jakob, 4. Additionally, her 22 years as head coach at Marshfield and 23 as an English teacher paint Sadowska as the very picture of stability.

Impressive as those longevity numbers are, they pale in comparison to those of Sadowska's parents, Duane and Joyce Sturz, who will celebrate 50 years of marriage in ...
