Turkish native and North High grad returns to discuss freedom of expression (with video)

It's been 42 years since Turkish poet and playwright Tarik GŁnersel walked the halls of his alma mater Sheboygan North High School, but on Wednesday, he had the opportunity to pay the school a visit.

"I had been dreaming about coming back to Sheboygan for more than 40 years," GŁnersel said. "To me, it is like a pilgrimage. In my life, this (trip) has such a value."

GŁnersel, of Istanbul, attended Sheboygan North in his senior year through AFS, a foreign exchange student program. ...
