Charlotte Sometimes, a contestant on the second season of NBC's "The Voice," will perform at 8 p.m. today at Morey's Bar, 3601 E. Maria Drive.

Charlotte, also a VH1 "You Oughta Know" artist, released her debut album, "Waves and The Both of Us" in 2008. She was named one of the "100 Bands You Need To Know" by Alternative Press Magazine and The New York Times has said, "Her style earns her instant attention."

While promoting her first album, she toured with artists Gavin Degraw, Pat Monahan and Butch Walker, as well as participated in the 2008 Vans Warped Tour. Her EP, "The Wait," produced by Sloan Alexander of Human Music Worldwide, was released in 2011.

Following her participation on the NBC singing contest, Charlotte released a new EP titled "Circus Head," produced by Today Kid. That album's track "Paint The Sky" recently won first place in USA Songwriting Competition folk category and third place overall.
