When Tom Weinkauf was asked his thoughts about playing in the Resch Center following Newman Catholic's loss to Assumption in a WIAA Division 5 state semifinal game Thursday morning, the veteran coach quipped that it must be a terrible venue as his team couldn't play in it.

While Weinkauf was joking, there was a portion of truth in his statement as the Cardinals never got in rhythm offensively in the 60-37 loss.
