A play written by a local actor and playwright will be performed by River District Theatre this weekend, just months before the show is due to debut off-Broadway in New York City.

"Naked Darrow," written by and starring Gary Anderson, will be performed Friday to Sunday at the YWCA in downtown Wausau.

Anderson, CEO of the Clarence Darrow Foundation and managing director of River District Theatre, wrote the play over the course of two years before it was first staged in 2011. ...
