March 15, 1960 - Ashwaubenon school study report due: The Ashwaubenon citizens committee studying plans for the town's compliance with the new state law requiring all land to be in high school districts will meet with the Town Board at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The session will be strictly a meeting of the high school committee with the Town Board to present a first progress report on its study so far.

A course to be taken by the state-imposed deadline of July 1, 1962, probably will be one of the following: Ashwaubenon building its own high school; joining the school system of Green Bay or West De Pere; or forming a union free high school district or regular high school district with neighboring towns, and West De Pere or the Village of Howard.

However, the Towns of Hobart and Suamico and Village of Howard are conducting a joint study on their course of action.
