When it comes to ranking food two items stand out above everything else in my world: bacon and cheese. If one or hopefully both items are in a recipe or on a sandwich it's going to get my attention.

Getting to cover the United States Championship Cheese Contest at Lambeau Field this year opened my palate to life beyond cheddar and curds - though I have nothing against those stalwarts of the cheese community.
