Packers miss out on signing Jackson

The Green Bay Packers probably will have to turn to the draft to find a primary running back.

Their attempts to sign former St. Louis Rams halfback Steven Jackson came up short when he instead agreed to a contract with the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, according to multiple reports.

The Packers also remain in the running to re-sign receiver Greg Jennings, though he was visiting the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night and today.
