Letter: Vote to return civility to high court

It's time to change up the Wisconsin Supreme Court. It's time to put an end to the court's four justice conservative majority. It's time for Ed Fallone.

As a professor at Marquette University Law School, a practicing attorney, an expert in corporate crime and a constitutional scholar, Ed Fallone possesses a broad legal background. He is a fully qualified legal professional and a dedicated public servant. Ed Fallone will bring to the court the maturity of character and commitment to ethical behavior that it so sorely needs.

I want to be proud of the Wisconsin Supreme Court again. I'm tired of judges who refuse to hold their colleagues accountable for unethical, uncouth and potentially criminal behavior. I cringe every time a news report describes our highest court as dysfunctional, corrupt, or perhaps worst of all, a circus.

I want to vote for a justice I can count on. Someone who is experienced, responsible, stable and ready to stand up to the challenges the court is most certain to face in the decades ahead. Ed Fallone has the training, the experience, and the backbone to do just that. He will be the fair and impartial jurist Wisconsin needs and deserves.

The spring election will be April 2. Be sure to mark that date on your calendar and then sure to mark your ballot to elect Ed Fallone as our next Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice.
