WBCA all-state girls teams announced

Twelve area players were recognized on the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association all-state teams.

Algoma senior guard Taylor Schmidt was the only one to receive an unanimous selection from the area.

The Packerland Conference player of the year earned it in Division 4, where she was joined by teammate Kennedy Blahnik, a junior, and Oconto junior Laken James on the first team. ...
