Karnitz bound over for trial in fatal accident

"I was definitely inebriated" after a fatal March 3 automobile accident, Dylan Karnitz told Detective Mike Stone of the Manitowoc Police Department.

That's according to Stone's testimony Friday during Karnitz's preliminary hearing in front of Manitowoc County Circuit Judge Jerome Fox. Karnitz is accused of killing two men and injuring four others while driving drunk and speeding.

After hearing Stone's testimony, which established probable cause, Fox bound Karnitz, 21, of Manitowoc, over for trial. ...
