The Sheboygan County OWI Task Force will be operating in Sheboygan County through the St. Patricks Day weekend.

The OWI Task Force is the result of a partnership between the all Law Enforcement agencies in Sheboygan County, the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Buerau of Traffic Safety.

The Task Force brings together officers from all of these agencies to conduct specialized patrols specifically designed to identify, investigate and take enforcement action against impaired drivers.

The Sheboygan County OWI Task Force has been operating throughout Sheboygan County since September 2012.

The Task Force has been deployed monthly at times and in places that have had some of the most negative impacts as a result of intoxicated drivers.

The task force makes every effort to strategically deploy in order to most effectively accomplish the operational mission of identifying and arresting those who are operating motor vehicles while intoxicated.

For more information concerning the Sheboygan County OWI Task Force, call Deputy Chief Christopher Ringel at the Plymouth Police Department at (920) 893-6541.
