Adams man faces reckless homicide charge in shooting death of girlfriend

Authorities filed charges Friday against a 28-year-old man accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend.

Coleman E. Dybul is charged with first-degree reckless homicide with use of a dangerous weapon, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession. If convicted, Dybul faces a maximum penalty of more than 65 years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, shortly before 2 a.m. March 2, Toni N. Voss, 27, got up to get her child a glass of milk and returned to the bedroom she and Dybul shared. ...
