SNC baseball: 15-run rally in 9th puts Green Knights past Britons

A 15-run rally led the St. Norbert College baseball team to a 17-10 victory over Albion College on Saturday in the final game of its spring trip to Florida.

The Green Knights (7-2) had one out and nobody on in the top of the ninth before the next 14 batters reached base safely to stun the Britons (2-6). St. Norbert scored its 15 runs on eight hits, six walks and two errors to erase an 8-2 deficit. The 15-run inning is believed to be a St. Norbert record.

Travis Mason's two-run triple cut the deficit to 8-4, and Nick Pierre drove Mason home with a double. An infield error plated Pierre to make it 8-6, and Chad ...
