When we asked readers to help us find some of their favorite out-of-the-way places for an old-fashioned Sunday chicken dinner, our plate runneth over with recommendations.

Anson Heagle of Algoma wrote of traveling on Sundays in the '50s and '60s to his Grandma Wetzel's house in Gilman for fried chicken and then retiring to the living room to watch the Packers game on a black-and-white Zenith console TV. "On the way home, we would debate which was better, the chicken or the win over the Bears, Giants, Colts ... you get the idea. Now days the trip is much shorter from Algoma to Moe's Corner in Rio ...
