New Miss Oshkosh ready to begin work on autism platform

After the many tears, hugs and pictures that followed Chelsey Wasielewski being crowned Miss Oshkosh 2013 on March 2, the 21-year-old Greendale native said she's ready to begin work on her platform.

Besides being a full-time student at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Wasielewski works as an autism therapist through the Fox Valley Autism Treatment Program, which is how she discovered her passion that would later become her pageant platform.

She said she hopes to use her title to educate others about autism and all of the struggles that come with it. ...
