The National Weather Service of Green Bay has issued a special weather statement today as it expects snow across the area.

The precipitation could start as freezing drizzle or a mix of snow and freezing drizzle over east-central portions of the state, but should change to snow by mid-day as the heavier precipitation arrives in the area.

The heaviest band of snow is expected to move through central Wisconsin during the mid-day hours. It should move across northern and eastern Wisconsin during the afternoon. Snow could fall quite heavily at times as the main band moves through, but the band is ...
